At the start of March we launched our Himalayan challenge in memory of Amged El-Hawrani.
Well ....you marvellous people........., I think we can officially say you’ve smashed it!
Here are the results:
So, the objective was a team effort to cover the length and height of the Himalayas.
Distance objective: 1,500 miles......you lot did 3,158 miles!
Elevation objective: 8,849 metres....you lot did.......20,886 metres!!!!!
You more than doubled each one AND you have raised £530 for the ENT Department at Burton Hospital where Amged was a consultant.
Thank you so, so much, for your support and effort of this challenge. You have been bloomin’ outstanding.
